For the Agape Farms Horse "extended lessons", talented professional horsemen give instruction in the most up-to-date and proven methods of horse training and equitation. Camp director, Laura Young, has hosted camps since 1985 and has trained horses to top levels of competition and coached many riders to the winner's circle. Assisted by an enthusiastic staff, Agape Farms' Horse Camp aims to have a program which will aspire a "blue ribbon" from the Lord in all aspects of life. All camp counselors strive to share their horsemanship talents so that each camper enjoys wonderful horsemanship success and builds high self-esteem while enjoying time with horses and creating new friends. We would never forget about our younger enthusiasts- the Explorers!!
The farm has taken advantage of being in the vicinity of the nations leading child development colleges University of North Texas (UNT) and Texas Women's University (TWU) and many other terrific area educators in helping design a play and learn program with our farm animals. Wednesdays are the most energetic days at the farm.
Animals are definitely another proof God loves us and wants us to be happy!!
