Lessons are a valuable asset for riders of all levels. Young Performance Horses (YPH), the horse division of Agape Farms, has certified instructors and offers a well-rounded and effective curriculum. Lesson times are scheduled privately or in a group. Lesson Prices for weekly, semester riding package, every other week, multi family and the show contenders are available. We try to accommodate your busy schedule. Classes, Workshops, and Retreats are offered throughout the year for adults and youths. Our Calendar has something planned for you, come join us.
YPH has a clearly defined lesson program in which to build from one basic skill level to the next. The rider and horse learn “building-block-exercises” to progress to advanced maneuvers. Each level is taught completely. While riding under the guidance of Agape Farms, beginners or accomplished riders are challenged to become the most competent horseperson possible. A beginning rider develops with a solid foundation of horse knowledge. An experienced rider is coached to complete skill levels in order to excel further.
While the horses bring together a common thread, we emphasize creating an encouraging atmosphere. No matter what a rider’s dreams are or what successes they have had …training a horse humbles even the best of us. Our focus is not on competition with others but rather to challenge each rider to give their horse their very best each ride.
Riding confusion: You've got to learn to ride a good horse then the trick of riding a good horse is staying out of his way!
